Important Changes to Waste Facilities Public notice issued May 13 detailed important upcoming changes to operating hours and requirements for disposing of certain household items at the Busselton Waste Transfer and Recycling Centre and the Dunsborough Waste Facility. Update on Draft Local Planning Scheme No. 22 (LPS22) Public notice issued May 16 provided an update on the finalization of Draft Local Planning Scheme No. 22, which is intended to replace the current Local Planning Scheme No. 21. State Government - Road Works & Campaigns
Ongoing Road Works Ongoing road works and temporary traffic management measures impacting the region included single lane closures and speed reductions on sections of the Wilman Wadandi Highway (Bunbury Outer Ring Road) from May 12 to mid-June for sealing, asphalting, and line marking.
Within Busselton, scheduled road resurfacing on College Avenue is planned for May 19, and resurfacing was scheduled in the Busselton Light Industrial Area during May. Minor finishing works on the Bussell Highway Duplication project are also ongoing through to mid-May, requiring intermittent lane closures and temporary speed reductions
