Busselton Jetty Swim 2025
Celebrating its 30th anniversary, the Busselton Jetty Swim is a highlight on Western Australia's open water swimming calendar. This internationally recognized event takes place over two days, offering a variety of distances to cater to swimmers of all levels.
The signature event, the 3.6km swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty, takes place on Sunday morning. But the excitement extends beyond the main swim, with a diverse program that includes:
Kids Swim: A 222m swim around the small swimming jetty for junior swimmers (Saturday at 1:30 pm)
Simon's 500m Shortcut Swim: A 500m swim that includes a unique passage under the jetty (Saturday at 2:00 pm)
Team Swims: 3.6km swims in teams of 2 or 4, with a new course and beach-based transitions for 2025 (Saturday at 2:15 pm)
One Mile Swim to Shore: A 1.6km swim starting from the end of the jetty (Sunday at 9:30 am)
Beyond the swims, the Busselton Jetty Swim offers a vibrant festival atmosphere with beach games, a free family-friendly sunset concert on Saturday evening featuring the band Jebediah, and a variety of activities on the foreshore.

Temporary Road and Car Park Closures for Bay Run: Road closures will be in place on Friday, 7 February 2025, to facilitate the 2025 Bay Run on the Busselton Foreshore

Busselton Foreshore Car Park Closures: The City of Busselton is installing a new Changing Places accessible facility on the Busselton Foreshore. To facilitate this installation, some car parks will be closed from February 6-9. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their trips accordingly and seek alternative parking options during this period.
Short-Term Rental Accommodation Regulations: The City of Busselton is seeking public input on proposed changes to the regulations for short-term rental accommodation. These changes aim to address concerns about the impact of short-term rentals on the availability of long-term housing in the region. Residents are encouraged to participate in the public consultation process and share their views on the proposed regulations.
