Operating on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, this market is located at the community garden. It features fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, herbs, home-made preserves, seedlings, and plants

News

  • Four Yalyalup residents raised concerns with Vasse MLA Libby Mettam about the lack of public transport, requesting a service connecting Busselton to Yalyalup and the airport.

  • Five local surfers from Dunsborough and Yallingup competed for spots in the Margaret River Pro pre-trial.

City of Busselton Updates

  • Funding Boost Spurs Kids' Participation in Writers' Fest in Busselton, indicating support for cultural and educational programs.

  • Scheduled maintenance for Bridge 3368 on Vasse-Yallingup Siding Road completed, ensuring the upkeep and safety of local road infrastructure between Vasse and Yallingup.

  • Community consultation period for verifying the list of names for the Old Busselton Cemetery Project closed on May 7. This marks a key milestone in the City's heritage project to finalise records for new commemorative plaques.

  • Public consultation is ongoing for the re-advertised Local Planning Policy 4.1 concerning Unhosted Short-Term Rental Accommodation. This policy has significant implications for housing and tourism in the region.

  • Proposed Dunsborough Hotel Resort Development public submissions are open until May 14. The proposal for a luxury hotel at Palmer Winery in Quindalup aims to capitalise on tourism growth.

  • Busselton Foreshore Changing Places Facility recently opened, providing enhanced accessibility for people with profound disabilities and their carers, aligning with the City's accessibility objectives

  • Disability Access and Inclusion Plan 2025-2029 has been endorsed by the City of Busselton Council. This plan will direct the City's efforts to improve accessibility across its services, facilities, and public spaces.
